Lunnitsa is a very ancient Slavic amulet symbolizing the Moon. It is believed that Lunnitsa came to Slavs with Skyphian nomads. Lunnitsa could be a male or female charm, depending on whether it's an upward or downward facing crescent. Horns pointing upward represent Waning Moon; such Luunitsa is worn by men; women wear downward facing Lunnitsa, representing Waxing Moon.
This is the very first Lunnitsa I made. I tried to make it as similar to the actual crescent Moon, as possible, which is reflected in the color choice. The stone in the middle is a genuine moonstone
